COVID-19: Impact on Workers' Compensation and OSHA
Is COVID-19 a compensable work injury under state workers’ compensation acts? With the complexity of the current legal environment and continued focus on the wellbeing of the injured workers, new claims management techniques and solutions are being utilized to care for the injured worker, expedite return to work and maximize outcomes.
In this session, we will discuss the changing landscape of workers’ compensation due to the COVID-19 pandemic and how the legislative activity is evolving in several states. Additionally, we will highlight the enforcement of COVID-19 specific to recordkeeping, documentation and inspections within OSHA State Plans.
